»GreenART – Art at the Heart of Sustainable Transformation.«

Art & Sustainability in Dialogue

The Vienna-based gallery BURN-IN sees itself as a platform for contemporary art with social relevance. For years, it has been dedicated to themes such as environment, sustainability, and responsibility, which are artistically reflected in the works on display. BURN-IN provides international artists with space for innovative approaches and creates connections between art, culture, and ecological awareness. In this way, art is not only exhibited but understood as an impulse for dialogue and change – a place where creativity and sustainability go hand in hand.

Internationale Plattform für Künstler:innen

Since its founding, BURN-IN has positioned itself as a bridge between artists and art enthusiasts. With GreenART Japan II, the gallery presents artists from Japan who open up intercultural dialogues through their works. The exhibition focuses on ecological approaches and powerfully demonstrates how art can make global issues tangible on a local level. In doing so, BURN-IN provides a stage for sustainable creativity and fosters exchange across borders – a place where art, culture, and responsibility come together.

Cordelia Lehmann-Reinthaller in Japan – GreenART im internationalen Kontext

From October 1–8, 2025, BURN-IN will present the GreenART concept in Osaka and Kyoto as part of the Austrian Advantage go-international program. At the center are the Raku sculptures of Viennese artist Cordelia Lehmann-Reinthaller, who will personally accompany her works and, as a patron of GreenART, strengthen cultural dialogue. With GreenART, BURN-IN combines aesthetics and responsibility – building bridges between Austria and Japan.

Cordelia Lehmann-Reinthaller
Cordelia Lehmann-Reinthaller, born in Vienna in 1959, first worked as a TV presenter and as an assistant to Prof. Oskar Luksics before studying theater studies, acting, and architecture. After the death of her husband in 1999, she turned to ceramics and deepened her knowledge in France. Since 1987, she has exhibited in Austria, Italy, and the United Kingdom; in 2009, she led an expedition to Mongolia. Since 2017, she has worked as a “wanderer between worlds,” and since 2018 her Raku works have been created in a kiln she developed herself. She lives in Vienna and the Kamptal region.
