From 9 to 11 October 2026, MEISTERSTRASSE presented an exceptional selection of international manufactories and outstanding craftsmanship in the Imperial Winter Garden of Vienna’s Hofburg Palace as part of Design District.

As part of the eighth edition of Design District, MEISTERSTRASSE transformed the Imperial Winter Garden of Vienna’s Hofburg Palace into a vibrant “Manufactories Salon”, captivating thousands of design-conscious visitors. The exclusive setting provided a carefully curated selection of Austrian and international manufactories with a platform to showcase exceptional craftsmanship, timeless design and outstanding quality.

For three days, the magnificent surroundings celebrated authenticity, quality and masterful workmanship. The exhibition highlighted fine tableware, bespoke interiors and culinary excellence, bringing together historic elegance and contemporary craftsmanship.

Under the theme “Japan Meets Austria”, World of Shiki and a delegation from Kyoto Prefecture offered visitors fascinating insights into Japan’s traditional and contemporary crafts. The Kyoto delegation presented exquisite objects created by eight remarkable workshops from this historic region of Japan.

His furniture impressed visitors not only with its aesthetic appeal but also with its thoughtful, functional design, which received widespread acclaim.
