After the repeated experiments, Yoshihisa Okuda from Sohogama finds a technique to use special clay developed in Shigaraki that allows light to permeate, resulting in the world's first environmentally-friendly illuminating ceramic washbowl. His new endeavor is the creation of one-of-a-kind illuminated sculpture.
